Client Services Manager
I came to the company a little over 7 years ago, in July 2006. I have always had a heart for elders and I found that my time with clients came easily and naturally. I can honestly say each client I have worked with has taught me something valuable. No matter someone’s age, status, or capacity their life has meaning and something to offer. It is my goal, privilege and pleasure to enrich our clients’ lives and work alongside of them as well as their families and support systems. In turn, I have my life enriched as well.
I am also a student pursuing a degree in health and human services. This is a personal goal as well as a professional one. It is an honor to say that I am a mother to four fun and lovely daughters. There is never a dull moment. I am enjoying watching my daughters become the young women they are meant to be and know each will make a difference and a contribution to our world wherever they may go.
Donna serves our clients as the Client Service Manager. She meets and interviews new clients and their families or supportive people in their life to establish a service plan. When a client has a Care Manager, Donna works with that Care Manager for continuity of service as well. Donna also does spot visits often unannounced to provide quality assurance to our clients.
I am originally from New England and moved to this area many years ago. I enjoy strong family ties. My mom lives nearby and we are a big part of each other’s support system.
When Donna’s colleagues were asked to give on adjective to describe her, all said “Only one”…. words like warm, caring, competent, focused and spirited came up to name a few. Client Satisfaction Surveys praise Donna for her warmth, knowledge and caring nature.
Donna’s favorite quote is:
“Surviving is important, thriving is elegant” ~Maya Angelou~
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach. I also enjoy traveling as it is always exciting to meet new people. I also enjoy taking back road motorcycle rides as it is a fun freedom at the end of a busy week.
