Sheryl has a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a major in Marketing, and a Master of Arts in Bioethics and Medical Humanities. She is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology at University of South Florida in Tampa Florida. Her anticipated completion is by the end of the year.

      Sheryl is working diligently to meet the company criteria which mirror the State and National Association for Professional Care Managers to be eligible to sit for the certification examination to become a CMC.

      Sheryl discovered her delight from interacting with older adults as a volunteer with Suncoast Hospice and turned to Chart Your Own Course, Ltd. Co. to pursue this professional aspiration. Both Partners are delighted Sheryl has joined the team.

      Sheryl understands the needs of a small business as she formerly owned the Tarpon Turtle Restaurant and Inn on Lake Tarpon.  She also worked for over four years in the financial services industry, so she has a lot of flexibility along with solid education and now training to transition into this new role.

      Sheryl is the mother of three grown sons and is now engaged to a man with a middle school daughter.  She is very excited she found Chart Your Own Course, Ltd. Co. and describes us as an organization dedicated to serving the needs of seniors!  When Sheryl enters a room, others note that the room lights up!  Sheryl states “that’s because I am relentlessly cheerful!”

      We are very excited to have added Sheryl to our team.  Sheryl’s colleagues note, that while Sheryl moves towards meeting the requirements set for her national certification, she will help meet the client’s needs while being supported by other Care Manager Team Members to gain additional important experiences.
